From a guest:
“We brought an 8-1/2″ Celestron SE. Jeannetta had told us the airport, about a mile away, was a good site for stargazing. She was right. The first night we viewed Jupiter, M-39, M-2 (Andromeda) and many deep sky nebula, open and closed star clusters. The second night we spent most of our time on our backs, upon a blanket staring and looking through binoculars. We saw a half dozen shooting stars. This was the very best dark stargazing night in ten years. Amazing!”
